Mount Kisco, NY (August 31, 2009) – The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester will hold its fifteenth annual Golf Tournament on Tuesday, September 29th, 2009 at GlenArbor Golf Club, Bedford Hills, NY. Proceeds generated from the tournament go directly towards the Club's programs and annual scholarships. (See the pdf for more detailed info.)

The golf tournament begins at 10:30 a.m. with registration, followed by an 11:00 a.m. lunch buffet. A shotgun start for the golfers will be at 12:30 p.m. After the tournament there will be cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, hand rolled cigars from La Casa Grande Tobacco Company, and a scotch tasting sponsored by Mount Kisco Wines & Spirits featuring the scotches of Compass Box Whisky Company, followed by a buffet dinner.

The awards presentation will be during dinner, along with an auction featuring great tickets and VIP items, including NY Knicks "Ball Kid" Experience, a stay for two at Stowe Mountain Lodge, golf foursomes at area courses, and more.

Brian Skanes, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester said he is pleased with the tournament's growth. "We are extremely grateful for the continuing support of this community," he said. "Participating in or sponsoring the tournament is a great way to contribute to a worthy cause while having fun."

The Tournament will feature Hole-in-One sponsored by BMW of Mt. Kisco, Longest Drive and Closest-to-the-Pin contests, and the JetBlue Challenge Million Dollar Shoot-Out.

The Golf Tournament Committee is chaired by Robert J. Levine and includes members: Steve Alvarado, Philip Bronzi, Lou Claytor, Bruce M. Cohen, John Crabtree, Terry Kramer, John New, Tom O'Neil, Bruce Orenstein, Peter Pauley, George Roach, Todd Rockefeller, Nick Scala, Jim Steets, and Michael Wolfensohn.
