Newsroom ArchivesClub To Honor Stuart E. Marwell — 2004 Alumni of the Year.
Mount Kisco, New York (October 27, 2004) — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester's Alumni Association will host their 3rd Annual Alumni Dinner on Thursday, November 4, 2004, at the Holiday Inn, Mt. Kisco, NY. The dinner will honor Stuart E. Marwell of Katonah, NY. Mr. Marwell will join fellow honorees Will Jennings (awarded posthumously in 2002) and Dennis Munson (2003) on the Alumni "Wall of Fame" in the Club's David L. Feldman Memorial Gymnasium. Cocktail hour will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Marwell, a Club member from 1958 to 1962, has served on the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester's Board of Directors since 1987, and as Treasurer from 1991 to 2004. He has been an active member of the Executive, Finance, and Capital Campaign Committees, and was a founding member of the Alumni Association. Mr. Marwell is President and Chairman of the Board of Curtis Instruments. Prior to his appointment to President of Curtis Instruments, Inc. in 2001, Mr. Marwell served as VP of Finance & Administration and then as Executive Vice President & COO. "We salute Mr. Marwell and are proud to honor him as the 2004 Alumni of the Year", said Brian Skanes, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester. Mr. Marwell resides in Katonah, NY with his wife Victoria and children Nicholas and Elizabeth.
